Sydney Taxi Carjackings And Fires
There have been a recent spate of alleged taxi carjackings in Sydney.
On the 29th and 30th of March 2008, 3 taxi drivers were allegedly attacked in western Sydney in separate armed carjackings.
The three drivers were allegedly robbed, one threatened with a knife, and two of the taxis were then allegedly stolen and set on fire.
These are exactly the kind of incidents that the Forced Ignition Immobilizer was designed to protect against !
If a Forced Ignition Immobilizer was fitted to these taxis, the taxi would have automatically shut down about 400m from where they were allegedly stolen.
This would have placed the taxi drivers a safe distance from the alleged armed robbers.
With a Forced Ignition Immobilizer fitted, the taxis could then have been safely recovered undamaged and been back in use earning money for their owners and drivers the same day.
The Forced Ignition Immobilizer protects you the driver, your taxi and your livelihood !
