Product Info
The Works Bell Rapfix II is the original ball lock quick release, invented and patented by Works Bell, made entirely in Japan, and which spawned the entire craze of quick release systems in tuner cars.
The Rapfix II is used by all the big Japanese tuners, including iconic Japanese tuner JUN who use a Rapfix II on their mindblowing Mitsubishi Evo X project car.
The Rapfix II can also be seen on a huge number of D1 and Formula D cars in Japan, including the Team Orange cars and Toshiki Yoshioka - the ToshiKing !

The Rapfix II is pre-machined with mounting holes to suit both Momo bolt pattern and Nardi bolt pattern steering wheels.
Quite simply, the Works Bell Rapfix II is without doubt the finest steering wheel quick release system in the world.
New 4 Electrical contact version now available
The standard version of the Rapfix II has 2 electrical contacts.
A new version of the Rapfix II with 4 electrical contacts is now available (in Silver only).
The 4 electrical contact version of the Rapfix II is very useful if you run additional steering wheel mounted buttons on your steering wheel, or if you run a paddle shifter like the Works Bell Paddle Shifter NEO or Works Bell Paddle Shifter NEO Universal, and you want the paddle shifter to be detachable with your steering wheel.
If you want the 4 electrical contact version of the Rapfix II, please select that version in the pulldown menu at the top of this page.

- already own a Rapfix II (2 contact version) who want to contact it to 4 contacts, or for

Steering Wheel & Hub / Boss Kit Compatibility
There is no welding required to fit a Works Bell Rapfix II Quick Release to your car - it is strictly a bolt on product with no welding required.
At the steering wheel end, the Rapfix II ships pre-machined with bolt holes in both standard 6 bolt Momo bolt pattern steering (PCD 70mm), and 6 bolt Nardi bolt pattern (PCD 74mm).
Of course it is compatible with all Works Bell steering wheels, including the Works Bell Original Steering Wheel, the Works Bell Team Orange Steering Wheel, and the Works Bell Yoshioka Steering Wheel.
The top image above shows a Works Bell Rapfix II (with optional Works Bell Rapfix II Flipper) attached to a Nardi steering wheel and Works Bell Boss Hub (click the photo to enlarge it).
The part of the Rapfix II that attaches to the steering boss / hub has a 6 bolt (PCD 70mm) bolt pattern, the same bolt pattern as used on Momo steering bosses / hubs.
The part that attaches to the steering boss / hub can also be attached to many compatible 6 bolt Nardi bolt pattern steering bosses / hubs (PCD 74mm), by using the Works Bell Conversion Spacer (see photo). The conversion spacer is a very useful product which allows you to fit compatible Momo bolt pattern products to Nardi bolt pattern products and vice versa.

Construction
The Rapfix II includes built in hidden terminals for your car's horn, and is built with the precise tolerances and high quality materials that you only find in genuine Works Bell products made in Japan.
It features a plug and socket made from high strength A506 which is then heat treated to H34 standard to increase yield strength then cold forged, SUS304 stainless steel springs, SUJ ball bearings, SUS XM7 stainless steel cap screws.
This forged construction makes it far stronger than merely machined counterfeits and knock offs.
