NS pads characteristics

Project Mu NS street pads are developed specifically for street use. NS pads are a reliable simple way to upgrade your braking performance for minimal cost.

NS street pads give outstanding initial stopping power that is of prime importance on the street.

Made from Asbestos-free brake compounds, NS street pads have excellent low dust and low squeal properties.

Project Mu recommend you use this pad if you like to get the most out of your street car.

NS Pads Specifications:

• Temperature Range: 0～400℃
• Friction Coefficient: 0.37～0.40μ

Project Mu B-Spec Brake Pads

B-Spec Pads Characteristics

The Project Mu B-Spec Sports Pad is designed to improve the overall braking power of any performance street vehicle.

B-Spec has been developed for street and light track use where initial stopping power and resistance to fade is of prime importance.

B-Spec has excellent wear and dust characteristics and are kind to the rotor even in track day environments.

B-Spec Pads Specifications:

• Temperature Range: 0～500℃
• Friction Coefficient: 0.32～0.45μ

Project Mu HC+ Brake Pads

HC+ pads characteristics

Project Mu HC+ brake pads are a premium Performance Street, Race and Rally brake pad.

HC+ has more bite than both NS and B-Spec and has excellent fade resistance.

Capable of operating at temperatures up to 800°c, this pad will handle almost all serious braking conditions.

HC+ is a genuine 'cross over' pad suitable for both road and race.

HC+ is extremely capable in competition environments so Project Mu says "use this pad if you are involved in serious track day, rally etc."

Along with temperature capabilities, HC+ is renowned as a 'drivers pad' with unmatched driver feel and control.

Project Mu H16-03 Brake Pads

H16-03 pads characteristics

Project Mu H16-03 brake pads are a competition-only pad designed to offer the very best performance in torque, feel, fade resistance and release.

High initial 'bite' coupled with excellent release characteristics means the driver can attack the braking area with increased confidence.

This is one of the pads on the V8 Supercar Control Brake List and has become very popular in tarmac rallying due to it's awsome stopping power coupled with wear and fade resistance.

H16-03 Pads Specifications:

• Applicable Rotor Temperature: 300～880℃
• Friction Coefficient: 0.42～0.62μ

Hi Octane R35 GT-R

Mark Berry and Russell Newman are well known for their awesome Hi Octane R32 GTR that has terrorised track days, Superlap, sprints and more for a few years now.

This car runs Project-Mu’s H16-03 up front and HC+ in the back and Mark recently commented "Those pads were one of the biggest bolt-on improvements we made with that car". Pretty impressive from a team who spent plenty on making that car into the rocketship it is!

The R32 has now now been sold and new projects are on the go. Mark is in the build process of an R34 and Russell is about to debut his stunning new R35 GTR in the Tarmac Challenge in Tasmania on October 3-5 .

This is a high quality but economical solution for replacing the brake disks on your R35 GT-R.

These disk rotors are attached to your car using the factory hat and fasteners from the factory Nissan brake disk / hat assembly.
