Unlike many competing products, the Farringdon Instruments Lap Timers are designed to save you money by growing and adapting with you as you progress in your racing career. They can be used either as a standalone lap timer or combined with a Farringdon data logger as a data display unit.

The RCA60 Lap Timer shown above is a simple-to-use powerful lap timing system in a compact, rugged, easily installed package. It has a range of lap timing functionality as well as the ability to send an "In" message to the display in the car from the pit wall when you need to bring your driver into the pits.

The Performance Monitor function shows you in real time if your current lap is slower or faster than your best lap, and by how much time (delta).
So you can instantly see whether a new line or set-up change is faster. If the car is slower after a setup change during testing, your driver can see this rightaway and back out of the throttle instead of chewing up the tyres. It is also fantastic for qualifying, as your driver can see in real time if the current lap is slower or faster than the best lap.

The Farringdon FD20 Data Logger is a 20 channel motorsport datalogger engineered to operate reliably in the harsh environment of a racing car.
The FD20 data logger is built with quality and robustness, with a machined aluminium billet aluminium housing, a testament to the ethos that Farringdon builds into all it's products.
The FD20 has a very high sample rate, with all 20 channels able to be sampled 500 times per second.
Data is recorded on an SD Flash card like those used in digital cameras, which means that you have flexible options in terms of the card sizes to meet your logging needs. The flash card is secured in the datalogger using a hinged machined alloy cover hatch with a thumbscrew to keep everything securely in place in high vibration environments.
Podium Flash data analysis software written for Farringdon by PolyLogic Limited is included with the FD20 Logger and provides comprehensive tools for analysing data from the FD20 Logger including graphs, charts, reports and tables to get the most from your data.

The FISW-X Steering Wheel integrates an LED display with Gear Shift Paddles and other ECU Control functions into a single system with either a RS232 or CAN Interface.
All components are sourced by St Cross Electronics and built by St Cross Electronics in the UK.
The main features of the system are as follows:
- High Brightness 7-Segment LED Displays arranged as two five character windows with central gear display.
- 15 LED Shift Lights.
- Left and Right Gear Shift Paddles with magnetic over centre feel.
- Push Buttons for ECU/GCU control - Neutral, Push to Pass (or Launch), Pit Lane Limiter.
- Push Buttons for Steering Wheel control - Cancel Alarm, Start Race Timer, Set Up Control and Recall Control.
- Radio Push Button to control car to pit radio.
- Two Rotary Switches to select display pages and mode/brightness.
- Two Optional Rotary Switches (FISW-4 only) for Traction Control.
- All inputs and outputs encoded in CAN data stream (ECU specific).
- Optional Display Controller which accepts sensors inputs and provides 0 to 5 volts logic outputs for paddles and switches.
