Project S14A Time Attack Build Update 27 May 2011 - off with it's head
A ton of progress has been made on Project S14A this week. As shown in the photos, the molds for the bodywork have been completed, the bodywork removed from the car for the rollcage fabrication etc, and now the roof has been removed as well.
Shown above is the mold for the front end bodywork. Even the mold looks menacing.
The car looks very bare with the roof removed, but with the roof off the car the rollcage fabrication will be a lot simpler and faster than trying to weld the cage in with the roof in place.
The photo above shows just how extensive the fabrication work on the car is. Remember this photo when you see the car back together in one piece in such a short amount of time.
In the foreground of the photo above is the roof section of the car being prepared for the roof mold to be made.
